One hot summer's day, a Fox was strolling through an orchard when he came upon a bunch of grapes ripening on a vine trained over a lofty branch. "Just the thing to quench my thirst," he said.
Drawing back a few paces, he took a run and a jump, but just missed the bunch. He turned around, counted "One, Two, Three," and jumped again, with no greater success. He tried again and again for the tempting morsel, but finally had to give up. He walked away with his nose in the air, saying, "I am sure they are sour."
Moral: It is easy to despise what you cannot get.
