Once upon a time, a lion lived in a forest. One day, after a heavy meal, he was sleeping under a tree. A little mouse came along and began to play on the lion's body.
The lion woke up angrily and searched for whoever had disturbed his sleep. He saw the tiny mouse trembling with fear. As the lion jumped to kill it, the mouse begged for mercy. Taking pity, the lion let the mouse go.
Some time later, the lion was caught in a hunter's net. Hearing his roars, the mouse rushed to help. It gnawed through the ropes and freed the lion.
From that day on, the lion and the mouse became true friends and lived happily in the forest.
Moral: A friend in need is a friend indeed.
