Once, a teacher and his student were resting under a large tree by a vast grassy field. The student suddenly asked, "Teacher, I'm confused. How do we find our soulmate? Can you help me?"
After a moment of silence, the teacher replied, "That is both a difficult and an easy question." He then said, "Look over there at the field. Walk straight ahead—do not turn back—and try to find one beautiful blade of grass. Pick it and bring it to me. Just one."
"Alright," said the student, "wait for me." He then walked straight into the grassy field.
A few minutes later, he returned empty-handed.
"I don't see a beautiful blade of grass in your hand," the teacher observed.
The student explained, "On my journey, I saw several beautiful blades of grass. But each time, I thought I might find a better one ahead, so I didn't pick any. Before I knew it, I had reached the end of the field. Since you told me not to go back, I returned with nothing."
The teacher said, "That is what happens in real life."
