A little rabbit was gathering mushrooms in the forest when a hungry wolf appeared.
"Oh, a rabbit! My favorite meal!" thought the wolf.
The rabbit saw the wolf but did not panic. She cleverly pretended to be poisoned from eating the mushrooms, clutching her stomach and groaning.
The wolf hesitated. "If I eat her now, I might get poisoned too," he reasoned. Deciding it wasn't worth the risk, he turned and left.
Safe once more, the happy rabbit continued collecting her mushrooms.
