An offender was brought before a judge. The judge asked, "What crime have you committed?"
The offender replied, "I went shopping too early during the New Year."
The judge said, "That's not a crime! Perhaps there's a mistake? How early did you go?"
He answered, "The shop wasn't open yet, and I was already inside."
