A Dog, looking for a place to take its afternoon nap, jumped into the Manger of an Ox and settled comfortably on the straw. Soon after, the Ox returned from its work and approached the Manger to eat some straw. Awakened from its slumber, the Dog flew into a rage. It stood up, barked at the Ox, and tried to bite it whenever it came near. Finally, the Ox had to give up hope of reaching the straw and went away muttering:
"Ah, people often grudge others what they cannot enjoy themselves."
