A woman visits her doctor, who confirms her first pregnancy.
The doctor asks if she has any questions.
"I'm a bit worried about the pain," she says. "How much will childbirth hurt?"
The doctor replies, "It varies from person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy. Besides, pain is difficult to describe."
"I understand, but can't you give me some idea?" she asks.
"Grab your upper lip and pull it out a little," says the doctor.
"Like this?"
"A little more."
"Like this?"
"No. A little more."
"Like this?"
"Yes. Does that hurt?"
"A little bit."
"Now stretch it over your head!"
