The Hunter's Dilemma | 猎人的两难

点击查看中英对照 收藏文章

A big-game hunter was on safari with his wife and mother-in-law. One evening, deep in the jungle, the wife awoke to find her mother missing. She rushed to her husband and insisted they search for her.

The hunter picked up his rifle, took a swig of whiskey, and began the search. In a clearing near the camp, they came upon a chilling sight: the mother-in-law was backed against a thick, impenetrable bush, with a large male lion standing before her.

"What are we going to do?" the wife asked.

"Nothing," said the hunter. "The lion got himself into this mess. Let him get himself out of it."
