There once was a happy village where everyone lived in harmony. One day, a giant approached. The terrified villagers hid in their homes.
A little girl, ignoring her family's warnings, stepped out and walked toward the giant. As she did, a strange thing happened: the giant began to shrink. Soon, he was her size.
The girl gently picked him up. "What's your name?" she asked.
"My name is F-E-A-R!" he whispered. "When people are afraid of me, I grow into a giant. You are not afraid, so I stayed small. Please help me!"
"I will take you through the village," the girl said. "When people know the truth, they won't fear you. Look at me, and you'll stay small. But first, let's change your name. You should not be called FEAR."
"Will you hold my hand?" the giant asked. "And please, call me PAL."
