Eleven women clung precariously to a wildly swinging rope suspended from a crumbling outcropping on Mount Everest. Ten were blonde, one was a brunette.
They collectively decided that one person must let go, or the rope would break, and all would perish.
For agonizing moments, no one volunteered.
Finally, the brunette delivered a touching speech, vowing to sacrifice herself to save the others.
