Zhao Fu and the Cart | 造父驾马车

点击查看中英对照

A father and son were passing by Zhao Fu's field when their horse became frightened and refused to move.

The father and son, sweating profusely, went to ask Zhao Fu for help to push their cart.

Zhao Fu agreed. He placed his hoe on the cart, took the reins from the son, and gently held the horse's bridle. Before he could even raise his whip, the horse began to run.
