The dolphins quarrelled with the whales, and soon their dispute escalated into a fierce battle. It raged on with no end in sight. Seeing this, a sprat stepped in, hoping to mediate and persuade them to make peace. However, one dolphin contemptuously replied, "We would rather fight to the death than be reconciled by a sprat like you!"
