A young man was caught stealing and sentenced to death. Before his execution, he requested to speak with his mother, which was granted.
When she arrived, he whispered, "I want to tell you something." As she leaned in close to hear, he bit her ear violently, horrifying the bystanders.
"This is her punishment," he explained. "When I was young and stole small things, she never punished me. Instead, she laughed and said, 'It will not be noticed.' It is because of her that I am here today."
