Once there was a scientist who lived alone in a small town. He often felt lonely.
One day, while at home, he suddenly heard cries for help: "Help! Help!" He ran outside immediately and saw an eight-year-old boy in the river and a dog sitting on the bank. The boy shouted, "The dog wants to eat me!"
The scientist rushed toward the dog, which became frightened and ran away. Then, he jumped into the river and rescued the boy from danger. The grateful boy thanked the scientist for his bravery.
