How to Gain an Extra Vacation Day | 如何多休一天假

English Original

I urgently needed a few days off work but knew my boss wouldn't approve. I thought acting 'crazy' might make him send me home. So, I hung upside-down from the ceiling and made funny noises.

My blonde co-worker asked what I was doing. I explained I was pretending to be a light bulb, hoping the boss would think I'd lost my mind and grant me leave.

Minutes later, the boss entered and demanded, 'What in the name of Sam Hill are you doing?' I told him I was a light bulb. He said, 'You're clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days.' I jumped down and left.

When my co-worker followed, the boss asked, 'And where do you think you're going?!'

She replied:

'I'm going home too. I can't work in the dark.'
