The French Art Thief | 法国艺术大盗

English Original

A thief in Paris planned to steal paintings from the Louvre Museum. After careful planning, he bypassed security, stole the paintings, and safely reached his van. However, he was captured just two blocks away when his van ran out of gas.

When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an obvious mistake, he replied, "Monsieur, zat is ze reason I stole ze paintings. I had no Monet to buy Degas to make ze Van Gogh."
