English Original
A man came home one day to find his dog lying on its back, legs in the air. Unsure if it was dead, he took it to the vet.
The vet said there was a sure-fire way to check. He left the room and returned with a cat, which he rubbed in the dog's face. After a moment, he concluded the dog was indeed dead.
The upset owner asked for the bill. "$550," said the vet. Stunned, the man asked for an explanation.
"Fifty for the visit," the vet replied, "and five hundred for the cat-scan."

"50美元是出诊费,"兽医回答,"500美元是猫扫描(CAT-scan,谐音CT扫描)费。"
