You May Put My Beard On Again | 请把我的胡子粘回去

English Original

A broom seller went to a barber for a shave. The barber bought one of the man's brooms. After the shave, the barber asked the price.

"Two pence," said the seller.

"No," said the barber. "I'll give you a penny. If that's not enough, you may take your broom back!"

The seller took the penny and asked the cost of his shave.

"A penny," said the barber.

"I'll give you a half penny," replied the man. "And if that's not enough, you may put my beard on again."
