Danny is a little pig who feels unhappy and wishes to leave home to see the world.
One sunny day, while his parents are sleeping, Danny sets off on his journey. Along the way, he meets an elephant, a peacock, and a rabbit. Eventually, he reaches a lake. Gazing at his reflection in the water, he says, "I wish I had an elephant's nose, a peacock's tail, and a rabbit's ears." Miraculously, his wish soon comes true. Overjoyed, he runs back home.
However, his parents do not recognize him. "Go away," they say, "you are not our son." Heartbroken, Danny returns to the lake. "I just want to be a pig again," he says sadly. He waits and waits until, finally, he transforms back into his original self.
Danny quickly runs home again. This time, his parents recognize him immediately. They hug him and say, "This is our lovely baby."
