A man took his son to the dentist to have an aching tooth pulled. After the procedure, the dentist asked for ten dollars.
"Ten dollars!" the man exclaimed in surprise. "I know you only charge two dollars for a tooth extraction. Why are you raising the price arbitrarily?"
The dentist replied, "That's correct. However, your son cried out so loudly that he frightened away four other patients."
