It was Little Johnny's first day of third grade in a new town. As a test, the teacher asked each student to count to 50. Some managed 30 or 40 with a few mistakes, others couldn't pass 20. Johnny, however, counted flawlessly all the way to 100. Thrilled, he ran home to tell his dad, who simply nodded and said, "That's because you're from Alabama, Son."
The next day, in language class, the teacher asked the class to recite the alphabet. Most third graders could get about halfway. Some reached S or T, but Little Johnny rattled it off perfectly from A to Z. That evening, he bragged to his dad again, who knowingly explained, "That's because you're from Alabama, Son."
