Han Zihu was the swiftest hunting dog in the world, and Dong Goujun was the fastest hare in the world.
Once, in pursuit of Dong Goujun, Han Zihu chased him three times around a mountain and over five peaks. In the end, both the hare and the hunting dog were exhausted to death.
A passing farmer saw them lying motionless on the ground. He picked them up, took them home, and enjoyed a fine meal.
