English Original
A blind beggar sat by the roadside, wearing sunglasses and asking for money. A drunk man walked by, took pity on him, and threw him a hundred-dollar bill.
After walking a few steps, the drunkard turned around and saw the beggar holding the bill up to the sunlight, checking if it was genuine. Feeling cheated, the drunk man ran back, snatched the money, and shouted, "You're gonna die! How dare you cheat me!"
The beggar, looking offended, retorted, "Hey man, I'm sorry. I'm just filling in for my friend who's actually blind. He went to the bathroom and will be right back... Actually... I'm mute."
"Oh, oh, in that case..." said the drunkard. Whereupon, he threw the money back and stumbled away.
