In the winter, when deep snow lay on the ground, a poor boy was forced to go out on a sledge to fetch wood.
After gathering and packing the wood, he was so frozen with cold that he wished to light a fire and warm himself before going home. As he scraped away the snow to clear a spot, he found a tiny golden key.
He thought, "Where there is a key, there must be a lock." So he dug in the ground and found an iron chest.
"If only the key fits!" he thought. "There must be precious things inside." He searched for a keyhole but found none at first. Finally, he discovered one so small it was almost invisible. He tried the key, and it fit perfectly.
He turned the key once. Now we must wait until he has fully unlocked it and opened the lid. Then we shall learn what wonderful things lay inside the box.
