One day, there were three cats: a white cat, a black cat, and a brown cat. They were all bored and had no one to play with. So, they decided to meet at the park.
At the park, they couldn't agree on what to do. The brown cat wanted to roll in the mud, the black cat wanted to roll in coal, and the white cat wanted to chase birds. Finally, they agreed to go for a walk.
On their walk, they saw a man painting his house green. They stopped to watch. When the man went inside for lunch, the cats accidentally knocked over the paint, spilling it all over themselves.
When they returned home, their owners didn't recognize them. They met again at the park. The black cat had an idea: "We could rinse ourselves off in the river to get the paint off. Then our owners will recognize us."
They did just that. After washing in the river, they were wet but clean. When they went home, their owners recognized them immediately. Everyone was happy to be reunited.
