In a distant country, there was a boy who looked after sheep. He often felt bored.
One day, to amuse himself, he ran to the village and shouted, "Wolf, wolf! Come and help!" The villagers rushed to the hill, but found no wolf and returned home, annoyed.
The next day, bored again, the boy repeated his trick. "Wolf, wolf! Help!" he cried. Once more, the villagers hurried out—this time to the field—only to find nothing. They went home, very angry.
Then, a real wolf came to the hill, intent on eating the sheep. The terrified boy ran to the village for help. But this time, the villagers did not come. They said, "Don't tell lies."
The wolf ate all the sheep, and the boy was left very sad.
