One hot day, a stag came to a lake to drink and saw his reflection in the water.
"How magnificent my antlers are! But I'm ashamed of my thin, ugly legs," he thought to himself.
Just then, he spotted a lion approaching. He fled as fast as he could, and the lion could not catch him. "Oh, how grateful I am for my strong, long legs! They have saved my life," he exclaimed.
However, when he reached a dense forest, his antlers became entangled in the branches of a tree. He struggled to free himself but could not.
Finally, the lion found the trapped stag, caught him, and killed him.
