One day, during a women's dress sale at the FarEast Department Store, a dignified middle-aged man decided to buy a piece for his wife. However, he soon found himself being jostled and battered by frantic shoppers.
He endured it as long as he could. Finally, with head lowered and arms flailing, he plowed through the crowd.
"You there!" challenged a shrill voice. "Can't you act like a gentleman?"
"Listen," he replied, "I have been acting like a gentleman for an hour. From now on, I am acting like a lady."
