Two gay men decide they want to have a child and wish for the baby to be biologically related to them. They choose not to adopt.
They both provide sperm samples. A doctor uses the combined sample to impregnate a close female friend who has agreed to help them.
Nine months later, the two men are in the hospital nursery, looking at their newborn. While all the other babies are crying, theirs is quiet.
"Wow," one man remarks, "Our baby is the most well-behaved one here."
A nurse walking by overhears and says, "He's quiet for now. But just wait until we remove the pacifier from his mouth."
