Long ago in a small, faraway village, there was a place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors. A happy little dog decided to visit. He bounded happily up the stairs and looked inside with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging fast. To his surprise, he saw 1000 other happy little dogs wagging their tails back at him. He smiled, and was answered with 1000 warm and friendly smiles. As he left, he thought, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back often."
In the same village, another little dog, who was not as happy, also decided to visit. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked in. When he saw 1000 unfriendly-looking dogs staring back, he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 dogs growling back. As he left, he thought, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back."
