An elderly couple entered a restaurant and ordered a Coca-Cola and a portion of French fries. The man sat down, and his wife sat opposite him. He carefully poured the Coca-Cola into two glasses, giving half to his wife and keeping half for himself. He then divided the French fries equally between them.
The man began to eat and drink, while his wife only drank her Coke. A young man standing nearby observed this and wondered why they were sharing so meticulously. Assuming they might be short on money, he offered to buy them another portion.
The old man politely declined, explaining, "No, thank you. We've been married for forty years and always share everything equally. It's our way."
After a while, the young man noticed the wife still wasn't eating her fries. He asked her why. She replied with a smile, "Today, it's his turn to use the teeth."
