When times were hard, a farmer said to a barber: "Corn prices are low now. I think you should charge half price for a shave."
"I can't, sir," replied the barber. "In fact, I should charge more. When corn is cheap, farmers become unhappy and worried. They all pull such long faces that I have twice the area to shave."
