Two Tigers Fight |

English Original

Bian Zhuangzi saw two tigers fighting over a man and was about to kill them with his sword.

Guan Zhuzi held him back by the sleeve and said, "Wait! Tigers are fierce beasts that see humans as prey. They won't harm the man until their fight is over. They are fighting fiercely now; the smaller one will be killed and the larger one will be injured. Then you only need to kill the wounded tiger. You can save the man and gain the fame of having killed two tigers. Wouldn't that be better?"
