English Original
Male peacocks are immensely proud of their magnificent tails. Even after long periods of domestication, they become envious upon seeing young people in bright, flowery clothes and will chase them, attempting to peck their garments to pieces.
When roosting in the mountains, they always first find a place to conceal their tails before settling their bodies.
If their tails get wet in the rain, they will spend a long time tending to them, refusing to fly high. They pay no attention to the approach of hunters and, consequently, are often captured in the end.
