Two hunters chartered a small plane to fly into a forest, arranging for the pilot to return and pick them up in two weeks. When the pilot returned, the hunters had shot many animals and wanted to load them all onto the plane.
The pilot objected, "This plane can't carry more than one buffalo. You'll have to leave the rest behind."
The hunters protested, "But last year, another pilot with the same plane let us take two buffaloes and other animals!"
The new pilot was skeptical but finally relented. "Alright, if you did it last year, I suppose we can do it again." He loaded two buffaloes and some other animals, and the plane took off.
Five minutes later, it crashed nearby. The three men climbed out and looked around. One hunter asked the other, "Where do you think we are?"
The second hunter surveyed the area and replied, "I think we're about a mile to the left of where we crashed last year."
