English Original
A large snake passed beneath a spider's web. It wanted to eat the spider but could not reach it, so it gave up and began to leave.
Seeing the snake depart, the spider lowered itself on a silken thread. The snake, spotting an opportunity, raised its head and waited. When the snake returned, the spider retreated back to its web. This happened several times until the snake grew weary and lowered its head.
Seizing the moment, the spider suddenly descended and bit the snake firmly on the head. The wounded snake thrashed wildly, repeatedly crashing to the ground, but could not dislodge the spider. After the snake died, the spider ate its fill of the snake's brains before finally leaving.
