A dog, used to eating eggs, saw an oyster. Opening his mouth wide, he swallowed it with relish, thinking it was an egg. Soon after, he suffered great stomach pain and said, "I deserve this torment for my folly in thinking that everything round must be an egg."
Those who act without sufficient thought will often fall into unsuspected danger.
