When a group of women boarded the bus, every seat was already occupied. The conductor noticed a man who appeared to be asleep. Concerned he might miss his stop, the conductor nudged him and said, "Wake up, sir!"
"I wasn't asleep," the man replied.
"Not asleep? But your eyes were closed."
"I know," he said. "I just hate to see ladies standing beside me in a crowded bus."
