A guest in the breakfast room of a posh hotel called over the head waiter one morning and said with a cheerful smile:
"Good morning. What a wonderful morning. I'd like two boiled eggs: one so undercooked it's runny, and the other so overcooked it's tough. Also, grilled bacon that's been left out and gone cold; burnt toast that crumbles at the touch of a knife; butter straight from the freezer, impossible to spread; and a pot of very weak, lukewarm coffee."
The bewildered waiter replied, "That's a complicated order, sir. It might be quite difficult."
The guest answered, "Oh? I don't understand — that's exactly what I got yesterday!"
