Once there were three foxes who worked together and lived happily. Gradually, the youngest fox grew lazy and often quarreled with the others. Eventually, the eldest fox had to leave, and the second fox was driven away as well. Looking at the warm house full of food, the youngest fox smiled.
The eldest fox started a new farm on a hill. The second fox dug a pond. Both soon became wealthy. Meanwhile, the youngest fox ate all the food left behind by the others. In the end, it became so cold and hungry that it could no longer stand.
