The Final Exam |

English Original

One night, Jack Evans and his three university friends went out drinking until late, as many students do, and neglected to study for their test scheduled for the next day.

In the morning, they devised a plan. They smeared grease and dirt on themselves to look as disheveled as possible.

They approached the dean and explained they had attended a wedding the previous night. On their return, they claimed a tire on their car had burst, forcing them to push the vehicle all the way back, leaving them unfit to take the exam.

The compassionate dean granted them permission to take the test after three days. The students gratefully accepted, assuring him they would be ready.

On the appointed day, they returned. The dean informed them that, as this was a special test, all four would need to sit in separate classrooms.

They agreed, confident after three days of preparation. The exam paper, titled MID SEMESTER COURSEWORK EXAMINATION, consisted of five questions totaling 100 points.

INSTRUCTIONS:
All questions are required. Any inconsistencies in the answers among the four students will result in a zero mark for all candidates.

  1. Write down your name. (2 POINTS)
  2. Write the names of the bride and groom at the wedding you attended. (30 POINTS)
  3. What type of car were you driving? (20 POINTS)
  4. Which tire burst? (28 POINTS)
  5. Who was driving? (20 POINTS)
