The Musician and the Echo |

English Original

A man with a coarse voice, but an excellent music room, would constantly practice in that chamber to take advantage of the echo.

He grew so conceited that he felt compelled to display his talent on a public stage. There, he performed so poorly that the audience hissed him off and threw stones at him.

We rarely see ourselves as others see us.
