A gentleman was invited to dinner. Arriving late, he hurried to his seat and was delighted to see a roast pig placed directly in front of him. "How nice," he exclaimed, "I'm sitting next to the pig!"
He then noticed the large, angry-looking lady seated beside him. Flustered, he forced a smile and added, "Oh, I do apologize. I meant the roasted one on the table."
