Funding For Froggies |

English Original

A frog enters a bank and approaches the teller. He sees from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.

"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan for a holiday."

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog replies that his name is Kermit Jagger, his father is Mick Jagger, and that he knows the bank manager.

Patty explains he will need to provide collateral for the loan.

The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny, bright pink, perfectly formed porcelain elephant, about an inch tall.

Very confused, Patty says she must consult the manager and goes to a back office.

She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog named Kermit Jagger who claims to know you and wants a $30,000 loan, using this as collateral."

She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "What in the world is this?"

The bank manager looks at her and says:

"It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."
