A drunk man stumbled upon a baptismal service by the river on a Sunday afternoon. He walked into the water and stood next to the preacher.
The minister turned and noticed him. "Sir, are you ready to find Jesus?" he asked.
"Yes, Preacher, I sure am," the drunk replied.
The minister then dunked the man under the water and pulled him back up. "Have you found Jesus?" he asked.
"No, I didn't!" said the drunk.
The preacher dunked him under again, for a longer time, brought him up and asked, "Now, brother, have you found Jesus?"
"No, I did not, Reverend."
In disgust, the preacher held the man under for at least thirty seconds. He pulled him out and said harshly, "My God, have you found Jesus yet?"
The old drunk wiped his eyes and said to the preacher, "Are you sure this is where he fell in?"
