Bob, a handsome man, walked into a sports bar just before 10 PM. He sat next to a blonde woman at the bar and looked up at the TV, where the 10 o'clock news was beginning. The report showed a man standing on the ledge of a tall building, preparing to jump.
The blonde looked at Bob and asked, "Do you think he'll jump?"
"I bet he will," Bob replied.
"Well, I bet he won't," she said.
Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and declared, "You're on!"
As the blonde put her money down, the man on TV performed a swan dive off the building to his death.
Visibly upset, the blonde handed her $20 to Bob. "Fair's fair. Here's your money."
"I can't take it," Bob said. "I saw this story on the 5 o'clock news, so I knew he would jump."
"I saw it too," the blonde replied. "But I didn't think he'd do it again!"
Bob took the money.
