A young cowboy walks into a town cafe and sits at the counter. He notices an old cowboy sitting with his arms folded, staring blankly at a full bowl of chili.
After fifteen minutes, the young man gathers his courage and asks, "If you ain't gonna eat that, mind if I do?"
The old cowboy slowly turns his head and says in a drawl, "Nah, go ahead."
Eagerly, the young cowboy slides the bowl over and begins eating with delight. As he nears the bottom, he spots a dead mouse in the chili. Shocked, he immediately vomits the contents back into the bowl.
The old cowboy says quietly, "Yep. That's as far as I got, too."
