The Finest Bat |

English Original

Dracula holds a competition to determine which bat is the finest to stand by his side. The rules are simple: the bat that drinks the most blood wins. He selects his three top bats to compete.

The first bat returns after ten minutes, her mouth full of blood. "Congratulations," says Dracula. "How did you do that?"

The bat replies, "Do you see that tower? Behind it is a house. I went in and sucked the blood of the entire family."

"Very good," says Dracula.

The second bat returns after just five minutes, her face covered in blood. Astonished, Dracula asks, "How did you do that?"

"Do you see that tower?" the bat answers. "Behind it is a school. I went in and drank the blood of all the children."

"Impressive," Dracula replies.

Finally, the third bat returns after only three minutes, literally covered in blood from head to toe.

Dracula is stunned. "How on earth did you do that?" he exclaims.

The bat asks, "Do you see that tower?"

"Yes," Dracula replies.

"Well," says the bat, "I didn't."
