An old lady, who was very deaf and thought everything too expensive, went into a shop and asked the shopkeeper, "How much is this?"
"Seven dollars, Madam. It's very cheap."
The lady said, "That's too much. Give it to me for fourteen."
"I did not say seventeen dollars, but seven," replied the shopkeeper.
"It is still too much," replied the old lady. "Give it to me for five."
