A family moved from the city to the suburbs and were advised to get a watchdog to guard their house. They went to a nearby dealer and bought the largest dog available.
Shortly afterwards, burglars broke into the house at night while the dog was asleep. The homeowner went back to the dealer and told him what had happened.
"Well," said the dealer, "what you need now is a little dog to wake up the big one."
